These Terms of Service govern your use of origin.roozspices.com and any purchase you make from Copper Mesa Spice Trading Co.. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

Copper Mesa Spice Trading Co. is a spice manufacturer and distributor registered in the State of Colorado, trading from 4767 Sweetwood Drive, Golden, CO 80401. Owner: Janice Eaton. Contact: 303-384-7649 / hostmaster@origin.roozspices.com.

2. Using this site

You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, introduce malicious code, or reproduce substantial portions of its content without written permission.

3. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including origin, grade and tasting notes. Agricultural products vary between harvests; colour, pungency and aroma will differ from lot to lot and photographs are illustrative. Nothing on this site is a warranty that a product will taste identical to a previous purchase.

4. Prices and orders

Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable sales tax and shipping, which are shown before an order is confirmed. Prices may change with harvest and freight costs, but the price on your invoice is the price you pay. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is out of stock, where a price is displayed in obvious error, or where we suspect fraud; in those cases you are charged nothing or refunded in full.

5. Payment

We accept major credit cards, ACH transfer and, for approved accounts, company check. Wholesale net-30 terms are granted by application. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may accrue a 1.5% monthly service charge.

6. Shipping and risk

Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. Estimated transit times are estimates, not guarantees. See Shipping & Returns for full detail.

7. Returns

Our thirty-day satisfaction policy is set out in full on the Shipping & Returns page and forms part of these terms.

8. Food safety and allergens

Our products are food ingredients intended for culinary use. We mill mustard, celery seed and sesame in the same room as other spices and cannot guarantee freedom from cross-contact with those three. We do not handle nuts, gluten-containing grains or dairy. Nothing on this site is medical or nutritional advice, and no statement here has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

9. Intellectual property

All text, photography, the Copper Mesa name and the compass-seed mark are owned by Copper Mesa Spice Trading Co. and may not be used without written permission, except for ordinary quotation with attribution.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business, arising from use of the site or the products.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and the state and federal courts sitting in Jefferson County, Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We would far rather settle a problem on the telephone.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
